Michiganders have cut their per-person driving miles by 6.7 percent since 2005, while the nation’s long term driving boom appears to have ended, according to a new report from the PIRGIM Education Fund. Michiganders’ decrease in driving is just below the national average of 6.87%. Our decrease since 2007 (7.6%) is even higher.
